Indonesian Delight!

Simple Mie Goreng

Total Time: 15-20 mins

Difficulty: Easy Breezy

Servings: 2

When I visited Bali, Mie Goreng was always a breakfast option, and there was no way I was ordering anything else! This noodle dish is made with amazing flavors of ginger, garlic, onion and chilies. The Indonesian sauce, Kecap, also gives this recipe a super unique flavor. Don't worry if you don't have this! We're going to be using an "Indo Mie" noodle pack that comes with all the sauces and seasoning you need.

Step 5

  •  Once the noodles are done, drain them and add to the tofu and vegetables.
    • Note: Keeping a tiny bit of water will make mixing the seasoning in easier.
  • Add the “Bumbu Seasoning (Seasoning Powder)”, “Kecap”, “Sambal” and “Minyak Bumbu (Seasoning Oil)” – **Do not add the “Bawang Goreng”** Those are crispy shallots. Save them for the garnish!
